The new Museum of Modern Art of Wooden Sculpture (permanent exhibition of wooden sculptures), the only contemporary art exhibition dedicated to wood sculpture in Trentino and one of the rare in Italy. The 19 works on display were chosen among those awarded during the various editions of the International Symposium on Sculpture "Luci e ombre del legno" which takes place every year in the countries of Tesino and Bieno at the end of July. In one week, about twenty-five artists from all over the world (in 2015 there were sculptors from Italy, Spain, Turkey, the Czech Republic, Germany, Switzerland, and Mexico) create works of art in the main squares of Castello Tesino, Cinte Tesino, Pieve Tesino and Bieno, enlivening the streets and arousing considerable interest from guests.

The work of the forest, and therefore the forest culture, is one of the factors that determine not only the economy of the mountain, but the entire hydrogeological and ecological balance of our areas.
The permanent exhibition on forestry uses, techniques and tools necessary for timber harvesting is dedicated to these specific themes, set up in the large rooms of the building: a journey through time on the equipment used once in the woods. The exhibition makes use of the rich instrumental repertoire of the prestigious ancient Forestry School of Vallombrosa in the province of Florence, through Professor Pietro Piussi, professor of forest ecology and forestry at the University of Florence from 1980 to 2008 and author of numerous scientific and popular publications. The exhibition was then complemented by tools found in the Flemish and Thesis fields.
