The Laboratory Museum of Popular Epigraphy, located along the Alta Via degli Alpeggi route (from Celentino to Ortisè), is set up in the reconstructed stallion of Malga Monte. The structure, at an altitude of 2,160 m, is the high-altitude gateway to the "Piccolo Mondo Alpino" Ecomuseum on the eastern border of the Val di Peio, and shares an extensive pasture with the surrounding municipalities, a place of great landscape value. On the walls of the large room in the stable, some panels tell the solitary life of the shepherds through epigraphs and fragments of classic texts. In the summer months, the museum is opened daily by the shepherd of the sheep that graze on site.
