Respirart
The Art Park RespirArt
“Respirart” is one of the highest art park in the world
RespirArt is one of the highest art parks in the world. It is situated between 2.000 and 2.200 meters in Pampeago – Tesero, in Val di Fiemme.
Conceived in 2011 by the journalist and art curator Beatrice Calamari and the artist Marco this park is an exhibition of art installations along the round route of 3 km located in the meadows and pastures in the dolomitic peaks of Latemar, declared by UNESCO a Natural World Heritage Site.
Every summer, new installations join the old ones and in the outdoor Theatre of Latemar, in front of Chalet Caserina, concerts and literary meetings take place.
The Park is continuously evolving. The gesture of “letting go” these art pieces in nature suggests to entrust changes, and therefore, life itself which is continuously transforming. Atmospheric agents do not ruin the installations, quite the contrary: they complete them, shaping them and changing their colors. RespirArt invites you to relax in the ever-changing nature.
Maximum respect for the natural environment is recommended. Visitors are kindly asked not to leave rubbish along the trail and not to shake or damage the installations.
The Art Park is accessible from springtime to autumn. Admission is always free. Some installations can be seen even in the wintertime from the ski slope Agnello of Ski Center Latemar.
How to get there: From the car parking in Pampeago, the chairlift Agnello takes you to the Art Park. If you want to walk to RespirArt, you can park in front of the chairlift station La Tresca of Pampeago, then take the path no. 514 towards Chalet Caserina.
