Sweet dreams up in the mountains
Sleep in an alpine hut near the concert venues!
Resiny timber and fresh coffee wreathe the air. Maybe you’re still dreaming? Open your eyes. It’s not your own bedroom, although you feel very much at home; you’ve just woken from a good night’s sleep over 2,000 metres up a mountain. Take your time: there’s bread, butter and jam to enjoy with a steaming mug of milky coffee before your day begins.
You like the easy pace of mountain life, the reassuring babble of a nearby stream. The early birds are already striking out on foot for the peak. Pass the time of day with the refuge manager about the heady experience of working on top of the world.
You’re both looking forward to lunch. But first, around noon, there’s a concert close by.
Up here, everything is easier. Easy as enjoying a “I Suoni delle Dolomiti” concert and sleeping in a mountain hut the night before or the one after.
