Mostra della Guerra Bianca
The story of the Great War on the Adamello narrated by the objects the glacier has given back, from war materials to sleds and skis.
The Museum of Adamello White War in Spiazzo tells the story of the First World War and its dead through the objects the glacier has given back, such as war materials, personal belongings, clothing, sleds and skis. Opened in 1973 by two enthusiasts, Giovanni Pellizzari and Sergio Collini, the Museum also displays an important collection of documents, photographs and books on the First World War.
Several years ago the Autonomous Province of Trento recognized its collection as a permanent exhibition, and the Museum works in partnership with the theme museums of Bersone, Temù and Vermiglio. The new venue hosting the Museum, strongly supported by the Adamello White War Museum Association, opened in 2007.
