Tre chiavi
Genuine country products combined with tradition and innovation
The restaurant ...
Locanda delle Tre Chiavi was named after an old treasure chest that was kept here and is located inside a palazzo in the centre of town, in what was formerly an historical cellar. As such, its guests dine in refined yet informal surroundings that can still boast the charm of the old building that houses the restaurant. A pebbled courtyard is found at the entrance, where guests can also enjoy a meal during the summer. Furthermore, its indoor rooms are decorated in the same style. Needless to say, the restaurant's cellars, with their barrelled vaults and steep stairs, are its most fascinating and mysterious attraction.
The restaurateur...
Anna Rita and Emanuele can be found in the kitchen, while Sergio Valentini - the owner - and Michele are in charge of the dining room. Together, they have decided to base the restaurant's style on the value of genuine country products, alternating tradition with innovation and the specificity of the most famous wine of the area: the Marzemino. Sergio Valentini was one of the first to appreciate the culinary potential of this town and is an indefatigable promoter of Slow Food initiatives, as well as of international exchanges and events which feature food and wine alongside Art, such as some of those held at the Museo di Arte Moderna e Contemporanea in Rovereto.
