Campitello-Mazzin-Col Rodella
Campitello and Mazzin are situated in the middle of the Col Rodella ski area, one of the preferred destinations for Alpine skiing enthusiasts.
A fast high-capacity cableway runs up from Campitello to Col Rodella, at 2.404 metres a.s.l., from where you can admire one of the most evocative landscapes in the entire Dolomites, stretching from Sassolungo to the Sella Massif, from Sass Pordoi to Marmolada.
Over 10 km of downhills pistes with a state-of-the art artificial snow system, and up-to-date uphill facilities (5 chairlifts, 3 skilifts and 1 cableway).
The area can be crossed on skis to reach the Canazei-Belvedere area, thanks to the long slope that runs through Val Salei until the hamlet of Pian de Frataces (Lupo Bianco). From Passo Sella you can also reach the ski lifts that will take you to Val Gardena and the Sella Ronda ski area (Dolomiti Superski), passing through the beautiful "Città dei Sassi". Besides the ski slopes high up in the mountains, Campitello also offers an area for beginners and children at the entrance of the town, where both can practise taking their first steps on the snow, combining the fun of skiing with the many activities organised at the outdoor kinderpark and the indoor kinderland, in the area called Ischia. Additional attractions include a ski school, ski kindergarten on the snow, mountain huts on the slopes and equipment rental.
Those who don’t practise skiing can go skating, ice karting, paragliding, ice climbing and cross-country skiing, as well as experience the thrill of riding on a sleigh towed by horses.
