Laboratory Museum of Popular Epigraphy
The Laboratory Museum of Popular Epigraphy on the Alta Via degli Alpeggi road is housed in the renovated Malga Monte sheep barn. At an altitude of 2,160 metres, it is the mountain gateway to the “Piccolo Mondo Alpino” eco-museum on the border with Val di Peio. On the walls of the arn, panels tell of the solitary life of the shepherds with epigraphs and fragments of classic literature. In the summer, the museum is opened every day by the shepherd of the flock that grazes locally.
