Museum of Folk Musical Instruments
A unique Museum
The Museum, set up in 2011 and managed by the Coro S. Osvaldo of Roncegno (choir), hosts an interesting exhibition of folk musical instruments from all over the world and a collection of nineteenth and twentieth century sacred texts.
It is unique because the instruments cannot only be admired; visitors who choose to be accompanied by a guide can also touch and play them.
The museum caters to everyone: it is perfect for music-lovers, but also for people who don’t know much about music.
It is the ideal place for families, even with young kids, who want to spend a fun-filled day. Children can immerse themselves in music and learn about new musical instruments as well as different sounds that characterise Western, Eastern and African cultures.
The Parco Musicale (Music Park) is also part of the Museum and it hosts some musical instruments, such as those that drive out evil spirits, musical animals and others, which youngsters love to touch and play.
The Museum is always very popular with children and adults alike, therefore, it is a lively and pleasant experience for the whole family. It is an extraordinary opportunity to stay in touch with music and instruments, learning while you are having fun.
OPENING TIMES:
The Museum can be visited from Tuesdays to Sundays (10:00–12:00 and 15:30–18:00)
